Mr. Estle Leroy "Shorty" Faulkner Jr.

November 14, 1964 - February 10, 2022

Estle Leroy Faulkner, Jr. (Shorty), passed away from this life on February 10th, 2022. He was 57 years old. Shorty was born November 14th, 1964, to Leroy and Edith (Mannis) Faulkner in DeWitt, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, and cherished cousin, Tony, and uncle, Carlon. He leaves behind to cherish his every memory, his father, his wife of 31 years, Shelly Faulkner, daughters Haley and Caitlyn, son-in-law Jonathan, and two grandsons, Jon Callan and Miller. Shorty enjoyed being out in the sunshine playing with his grandkids, spending time with his family, and enjoying God’s great outdoors. He lived a life full of happiness and joy that one could only hope to embody. He was never one to complain or be fearful of things to come. He always loved to quote, “I’m not going one day before it’s my time.” He knew God had a day and time to call him home and he wasn’t going to miss it. His family is filled with peace knowing he knew where he was going after this life. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. February 13 at Essex Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. February 14 at Essex Funeral Home with burial in Thompson Cemetery.
