Mrs. Norma Roberta "Bertie" Tibbett Handerson

January 7, 1938 - January 7, 2016

Norma Roberta "Bertie" Tibbett Henderson, 78, of DeWitt entered into her eternal rest on January 7, 2016 on her 78th birthday. She was born on January 7, 1938 to Wallace Tibbett and Mattie Watkins Tibbett Sloate in DeWitt, Arkansas. She married Joe Marion Henderson "Jr." on February 7, 1955. She is survived by her two sons, Marion "Wally" Henderson and David Henderson, both of DeWitt and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather Luther Sloate; her husband; two brothers Lee Vern and Wilford Tibbett; and three sisters Wanda Faye Johnson, Agnes Ward, and Helen Kerns. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. January 9 at DeWitt First Assembly of God. Funeral services will be 2:00 January 9 at the DeWitt First Assembly of God with burial in Thompson Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to DeWitt First assembly of God, 1520 S.
