Ruby Jane Isom Watson, 91, died March 20, 2015. She was born on November 19, 1923, in Stuttgart to James "Buck" and Rosie Kittler Isom. She was a homemaker and a devoted babysitter to many children. She spoiled all of the children that she kept and loved them like her own. Ruby Jane was the last living charter member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John William Watson; son William Ray Watson; siblings Henry Isom, Carlena White, and Leonard Isom; and granddaughter Wanda Malone. Survivors include her daughters Dorothy Campbell (Buck) and Breda Snyder (Lloyd) both of DeWitt; five grandchildren Judith Thompson, Richard Snyder, Karen Watts, John Watson, and Laura Huffman; nine great grandchildren Kendall Bowie, Drake Snyder, Sydney LaCotts, Janie Thompson, Cole Jones, Sara Thompson, Jessie Snyder, Brian Watts, and Ben Watts; two great great grandchildren Keegan and Owen Bowie; and two sisters Mary Lillian Childers of DeWitt and Rose Rose of Brinkley. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 Sunday, March 22 at Essex Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 March 23 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home. essexfuneralhome.com
