Mrs. Sarah Ann Herrmann Fisher Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sarah Ann Fisher, age 82, was called home on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Sarah was born in Parkland, Oklahoma, on March 30, 1940, to Chester and Pearl (Williams) Herrmann. She lived the majority of her life in DeWitt, Arkansas. Sarah Ann was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on July 19, 1955, and she married Glendel Elsworth Fisher on February 15, 1956. Together, they were blessed with seven children. She was a woman of unwavering faith and dedication to God and her family. Through life’s many trials, she always took things to God. She appreciated good quality and showed great attention to detail. She loved reading her Bible, listening to gospel music, going shopping, giving gifts, and traveling to visit her children who lived out of state. A survivor, a woman of faith and wisdom, Sarah Ann came up through many fiery trials. She willingly shared her stories of God’s goodness with the many who came to visit her. She is survived by her children, Diane Fisher, Vance (Teresa) Fisher, and Maleta (Dewayne) Schmidt; son-in-law, Kip Payton; daughter-in-law Lynnette (Van) Saunders; grandchildren, Travis Fisher, Emily Fisher, Kendra (Brad) Rainey, Bethany (Craig) Ellenberg, Autumn (Connor) Cunningham, Nicole (DJ) Barnes, Makalynn Schmidt, Haley Fisher, Statler Schmidt and Melissa (Kyle) Luebke; siblings, Troy (Marilyn) Herrmann, Floy Jones and Donald Watkins; great grandchildren: Weston Rainey; Evan, Collin, Aden, Noah & Jack Ellenberg, and Grant & Benjamin Barnes; and many family and friends. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Glendel; children: Dorland Fisher, WyGonda Fisher, LaRonda Hamm, and Denise Payton; son-in-law, Wesley Hamm; grandchildren: Tyler Hamm, Bradley Hamm, Colby Fisher, Jessica Hamm and Rhianna Schmidt; her parents; stepfather, Ray Watkins; and siblings, Odessa Herrmann, Glenn Herrmann, Clota Fisher, Bobby Herrmann, Emmett Herrmann, Roxie Watkins, and Garry Watkins
