Mrs. Velma Jean "Boots" Wallace Williams

Velma Jean "Boots" Wallace Williams, 90, of Nady passed away December 22, 2021. She was born November 27, 1931, in DeWitt to Jeffery and Jewel Eichler Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Julia Morgan; five brothers Jeffery, Jr., Ronald, Billy, Charles Homer, and Donald Wallace; and two sisters Norma Fowler and Catherine Hayes. Boots is survived by her husband James; four children J.W. William (Virginia) of Nady, Gary Williams (Monta Sue) of DeWitt, Lila Williams of Nady, and Janet Lampkin (David) of Greers Ferry; nine grandchildren Chris Campbell, Jonathan McNealy, Shane Holzhauer, Jennifer Menard, Becki Layman, Anthony, Kevin, Matthew, and Michael Williams; several great grandchildren; brother Benny Wallace; and sister Betty Houghton. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. December 26 at Wallace Menard Cemetery.
