November 22, 1952 - March 4, 2018
Vicki Ann Wylie Williams, 65, was born November 22, 1952 in Stuttgart, AR. to Elmer and Imogene Wylie. She departed this life on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, surrounded by her family, wrapped in love and peace after a battle with ALS. Vicki lit up a room and instantly filled it with love and laughter. Her distinct laugh will ring in the ears of her loved ones for years to come. She openly expressed her faith in God and was raised in the First Christian Church in DeWitt, AR. During her time on earth she loved taking road trips with her family and shopping. Vicki spent the past 12 years working for the Baptist Hospital in Stuttgart. She had a great talent for picking out just the right Christmas gift, a knack that still brings laughter to us all. She loved having fun and acting silly. However her greatest love was her family. In this life she was known by many titles; daughter, mama, granny, sister, aunt and friend, including her best friend Peggy Dillon. She cherished each name with honor and never failed to remind everyone how much she loved them, and how proud she was of them. Every new baby was spoiled by Granny, and even as they grew older they never doubted their place in her heart. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Imogene Wylie. She leaves to cherish her many memories: her four sons, Jason (Nia) Rieves of DeWitt, Josh (Tammy) Rieves of DeWitt, Craig (Christina) Williams of Caruthersville, Casey (fiancé Heather) Williams of North Little Rock and daughter, caregiver and best friend Carri Bland of North Little Rock; her three sisters, Linda Green of Phoenix, AZ., Shelia (Johnny) Davis of DeWitt, Debra (Joe) Brown of Sherwood; brother Roger (Marion) Wylie of Rogers; eight grandchildren, Suzanna Rieves, Jake Rieves, Alyssa (Thomas) Finley, Brittany Williams, Brittan Williams, Micah Williams, Kiley Barton and Peyton Mistric, one great grandchild, Arrow Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Visitation will be held at the First Christian Church in DeWitt on Saturday, March 10 at 10 a.m. with service following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Layne Mason officiating. Followed by a private ceremony for the family at the graveside. The family would like to thank all the many people who have called and visited, shared warm memories and loving prayers. Thank you to Hospice Home Care and the staff at UAMS for their exceptional care during this time. A special thanks to her caregiver Kim Smith and her compassion animal, Buddy for the many hours of love, laughter and caring you shared with her.
